For decades, the federal government has gradually but consistently assumed power and control over state and local governments and asserted itself into healthcare, education, and immigration issues. With the growth of federal agencies, expansion of federal oversight, and increasing local regulations and mandates, the federal government has unprecedented influence, and even authority, over how state legislatures, county boards, and city councils spend taxpayer dollars to provide services and infrastructure for their citizens.

It’s time to put the power of governing back where it belongs. It’s imperative to our free society that we restore local control and reinstate the principles of State government that are guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
